21대 첫 국감 오늘 개막…최대 격전지는 국방위<br /><br />The first annual audit of the government under South Korea's 21st National Assembly kicks off in a few hours.<br />For the next 20 days, more than 640 government organizations will be inspected by the assembly's various committees.<br />Lawmakers are expected to probe the recent killing of a South Korean government official by North Korea on the West Sea border and debate the special military service treatment given to the justice minister's son.<br />On Wednesday, officials from dozens of government organizations, including the Supreme Court and the ministries of foreign affairs, health and welfare, and education, will be in the hot seat.<br />Another hot topic is expected to be strengthening disease preventive measures due to COVID-19.<br />
