OPCW "나발니 혈액서 신경작용제 검출"<br /><br />A global chemical watchdog has confirmed that Russian opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, was poisoned by a nerve agent in the Novichok family.<br />The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons said on Tuesday that samples taken from Navalny confirmed "the presence of a nerve agent" from the Novichok group.<br />The findings confirm test results from labs in Germany, France and Sweden.<br />The 44-year-old was taken ill on a flight to Moscow in August, and was transferred to Berlin two days later where he eventually recovered.<br />Western leaders have called for sanctions against Russia, but the Kremlin denies any involvement.<br />
