The FBI is warning that scammers are setting up fake voting websites to trick Americans.<br />The websites look like official voting resources but contain false or misleading information are being set up to confuse voters.<br />Cybercriminals are also creating spoofed email addresses that look like they came from trustworthy sources to send people misinformation about voting.<br />The FBI said the fake websites and emails are being set up by "foreign actors."<br />The FBI did not say which countries are setting up the sites and which candidate those countries are backing.
