칠레 주택가 출몰한 코끼리물범, 한밤중 ‘합동 귀가 작전’<br /><br />A huge elephant seal makes its way down the street, hauling itself through the neighborhoods.<br />The confused animal had been stranded in a coastal town in Chile, after coming ashore.<br />Various aquatic animals were at times seen entering the seaside city, but a two-ton elephant seal in the middle of a village is a rare occurence.<br />The marine mammal was safely guided back to its habitat, thanks to the police, navy officers, and a group of neighbors that worked together to help the lost creature find its way back home.<br />Environmental officials say there has been an increase in animal sightings in the beachside town this year, amid the COVID-19 pandemic emptying the streets.<br />
