마추픽추 보려고 페루서 7개월 버틴 일본인, 마침내 '단독 관람'<br /><br />A Japanese tourist, who travelled to Peru to see the ruins of Machu Picchu, has finally achieved his dream after nearly seven months of waiting in the country.<br />The 26-year-old arrived in Peru in March, with a goal to see the stone ruins during his three-day stay.<br />But the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly cancelled his reservation, and lockdown measures left him and other travelers stranded.<br />Many tourists sought help from their respective governments and returned home, but the man refused to leave before he visited the famous archeological site.<br />He submitted a request explaining his situation, and was finally allowed in, becoming the first visitor in months to enter the world heritage site.<br />The tourist, in a video filmed during the tour, expressed gratitude for the approval of his one-person visit.<br />
