국내 코로나 감염 수 25,000 돌파... 금요일 신규 확진 47명<br /><br />Our top story this afternoon...<br />After four days of new daily COVID-19 cases hovering around the 100-mark, South Korea reported less than 50 new cases on Friday.<br />But health authorities are warning against complacency, especially at national parks, as tourists head to the mountains to enjoy the cool weather and autumn views.<br />Han Seong-woo reports.<br />South Korea saw the number of daily COVID-19 infections drop below 50 for the first time in over two weeks this Friday.<br />Of the 47 new cases reported, 41 were locally transmitted with Seoul and the surrounding area accounting for most of those cases.<br />These include cluster infections at a pub in Incheon, a hospital and funeral house in Seoul, and from social gatherings on the east coast of Gangwon-do Province.<br />"Cluster infections are still popping up from social gatherings and at places where high-risk facilities are concentrated, so it's too early to relax.”<br />Another concern is the increasing amount of tourists and hikers heading to the mountains to enjoy the autumn leaves amid the recent relaxation of social distancing guidelines to level 1.<br />Starting Saturday, national parks will operate under special measures for the fall to prevent a potential spread of the virus.<br />The number of critically ill patients has risen to 85 and the total number of cases now stands at slightly over 25-thousand.<br />COVID-19 has claimed two more lives, bringing the country's death toll to 441.<br />Han Seong-woo, Arirang News.<br />
