'Mangaluru Dasara' celebrations also known as Navaratri began at the Gokarnanatheshwara temple in the Mangaluru city on October 17.<br />Devotees thronged to temple on the first day to offer prayers. Famous ‘tiger dance’ was also performed on the occasion.
