달에 4G 이동통신망 깐다…NASA, 사업자로 노키아 선정<br /><br />NASA has selected Nokia to build the first mobile network on the moon.<br />This is part of NASA's program to return humans to the moon by 2024 and build long-term settlements there.<br />The Finnish company said on Monday local time that the lunar surface would be equipped with a wireless communications system in late 2022.<br />The company added that it will establish a 4G LTE network system in space, but the final goal is to eventually switch this to 5G.<br />This will allow astronauts to make voice and video communications, exchange data, and remotely control robotic devices.<br />
