미 국방부, 핵미사일 미니트맨-3 교체에 110조원 추산<br /><br />The Pentagon has raised its estimated cost of new nuclear missiles for the U.S. to replace the aging Minuteman 3 system.<br />It's new estimate is 95-point-eight billion U.S. dollars.<br />That's up about ten billion dollars from four years ago.<br />Last month, the U.S. Air Force signed a 13-point-three billion dollar contract with Northrop Grumman for engineering and manufacturing development of the new missiles.<br />It will replace the current fleet of 400 Minuteman missiles based in underground silos across the Midwest ...which has operated continuously for 50 years.<br />The intercontinental ballistic missiles are intended as part of a near-total replacement of the U.S. nuclear arsenal over the next few decades ...at a total cost of more than one-point-two trillion dollars.<br />
