Chile and Spain commemorate 500 years of crossing the Strait of Magellan

Chilean president Sebastián Piñera inaugurated the commemoration of 500 years since the first crossing of the Strait of Magellan, flanked by the Spanish training ship Juan Sebastián Elcano and the Chilean vessel La Esmeralda.
