The Madras High Court on Wednesday declared that the niece and nephew of the late<br />former chief minister J Jayalalithaa J Deepa and J Deepak were Class II legal heirs<br />entitled to inherit all her properties. The Madras High Court directed the Tamil Nadu<br />government to reconsider its decision to convert former chief minister Jayalalithaa's<br />residence "Veda Nilayam" into a memorial. Her death was shrouded in mystery with<br />multiple controversy theories floating around. Adviocate R. Varadarajan recalls a few<br />occasions when he, as a fingerprint forensic expert, was vested with the investigation of<br />such incidences, chief among them being the case of Jayalalitha’s milk being laced with<br />poison.
