Malaysia has reported 710 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours up to noon today, as well as 10 deaths, marking the highest number of fatalities reported in a single day since the pandemic hit the country. <br /><br />Sabah continues to record the highest number of new infections with 528 cases or 74.4 percent, as well as the highest death rate with eight out of the 10 deaths.<br /><br />The remaining two deaths were reported in Labuan and Kedah. The latest death count is at 214 cases or 0.9 percent of all recorded cases.
