태국 왕당파 vs 반정부 시위로 확산,... 군주제 개혁 이슈 해외로 번지나?<br /><br />Anti-government protests in Thailand are picking up momentum,...calling for monarchy reform.<br />But the protests have prompted strong opposition from royalists who support the king.<br />And the country remains largely divided.<br />For more on this and other news from around the world, we turn to Lee Kyung-eun.<br />Kyung-eun, what's the latest?<br />Mok-yeon, more than one-thousand pro-monarchy protesters took to the streets in Bangkok on Tuesday.<br />Almost all of the royalists wore yellow shirts, symbolizing devotion to the monarchy.<br />And they were chanting their support for the king,.... against growing calls for monarchy reform among youth.<br />"We don't agree that the institution has to be reformed because it has not created any hardship for people. We don't accept it to be reformed."<br />Sparking the movement was the anti-government protesters' march toward the German embassy on Monday.<br />They called on Germany where the king spends most of his time to investigate whether he had conducted any Thai politics from there,... in violation of Germany's sovereignty.<br />The march was seen as an effort to draw international attention to calls for monarchy reform.<br /><br />
