2020로보월드, 로봇산업계 최신 흐름 공유하는 자리 가진다<br /><br />The annual Robot World Exhibition got underway in South Korea on Wednesday.<br />Under the slogan "smart industry, smart life", the four-day event will display robots from two hundred different companies.<br />The exhibitions shows how robots could help humans in many different ways.... from making and serving coffee to speeding up the manufacturing process in factories.<br />Our Bae Eun-ji takes you to the scene.<br />By just inserting the ingredients, a robot makes a gourmet meal.<br />A pasta dish is made within just a few minutes and all from the press of a button.<br />Once the recipe is ready, this robot can automatically make a whole host of other dishes too.<br />Hosted by the Korean Robot Industry Association, 700 booths from 200 companies are lined up at Kintex in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do Province, for this year's Robot World Exhibition.<br />Industrial robots, service robots, and robot components are on display while another makes coffee all by itself.<br />"This robot could soon be a common sight in restaurants and cafes. When a person orders coffee from this machine,... instead of a person making the drink, the robot does all the work."<br />A manager of the company which manufacturers these robots says that, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a bright future awaits the robotics engineering industry.<br />"COVID-19 has led to the trend of people trying to make as little contact with others as possible. Through this transition, robots can provide all kinds of different services to humans."<br />Meanwhile, industrial robots can collaborate with humans to accelerate the manufacturing processes for a lot of companies.<br />One company has designed robots that can be used to make electronic components and biotech products more efficiently.<br />"With depleting labor forces, there is high demand for automations at many companies. I believe our small-and-medium-sized robots here can help in the automation process."<br />A total of 35-thousand buyers will be participating in 2020 Robot World Exhibition,... of them one-thousand are from overseas.<br />The event will run for four days until Saturday.<br />Bae Eun-ji, Arirang News.<br />
