As per the data released by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India on October 29 reported single-day spike of 49,881 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, and 517 deaths in the same period, pushing the Covid-19 toll in the country to 1,20,527.<br /><br />India’s confirmed cases of coronavirus stand at 80,40,203 which include 6,03,687 active infections after a decrease of 7,116 in last 24 hours. More than 73,15,989 people have recovered from the virus with 56,480 new discharges in last 24 hours.<br /><br />According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 10,75,760 samples were tested on October 28. Cumulative samples tested for Covid-19 till October 28 is 10,65,63,440.
