Iowa Democrat J.D. Scholten is facing Republican Randy Feenstra in the state's 4th Congressional District.<br />The predominantly Republican district is located in Northwestern Iowa and encompasses Ames and Sioux City.<br />The district is currently represented by Rep. Steve King, whom Feenstra defeated in the Republican primaries.<br />Scholten is a former professional baseball player who began his career in politics during the baseball offseason.<br />According to Business Insider, Feenstra is a member of the Iowa State Senate representing the 2nd District.<br />No results have been announced at this point.
