Several residents of Pangarap Village in Caloocan City were supposedly hurt Friday after a confrontation with the armed guards of a land developer claiming the land rights over their area. They tried to prevent the dumping of soil on the road and on their properties.<br /><br />Local government officials are still waiting for a Supreme Court resolution regarding who the real owner of the 156-hectare property is, but the land developer allegedly continued the digging of the earth and dumping of the soil that already left a number of houses and stores either covered with soil or submerged in flood.
