Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Suffers<br />Season-Ending Ankle Fracture.<br />Dak Prescott, quarterback for the<br />Dallas Cowboys, suffered a devastating injury<br />during the team’s Sunday night game. .<br />In a third quarter scramble, Prescott was tackled<br />by New York Giants free safety Logan Ryan. .<br />He suffered a compound fracture and<br />dislocation of his right ankle and was<br />rushed off the field by medical staff. .<br />He underwent surgery<br />that same day to<br />“wash out the wound<br />and fix the fracture.”.<br />The Cowboys have since<br />released a statement<br />saying his surgery was<br />“successfully completed.” .<br />Dak Prescott's surgery was<br />successfully completed last night<br />and he is expected to be released<br />from the hospital today, Dallas Cowboys, via CNN.<br />Although there has yet to be a timetable<br />set for Prescott’s return, he is at least done<br />for the rest of the 2020 season. .<br />Prescott, the 2016 NFL<br />Offensive Rookie of the Year,<br />will be out of contract<br />at the end of the season.
