Blake Bortles to Reportedly Sign With Broncos as Backup QB.<br />According to multiple reports, Bortles is signing a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos following Drew Lock's shoulder injury.<br />Broncos coach Vic Fangio said Lock will be out for three to five weeks.<br />Jeff Driskel will take over as QB for now with Bortles reportedly signing on as his backup. .<br />Bortles was the No. 3 pick <br />in the 2014 NFL draft.<br /> He started for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2014-2018.<br />In 2018, he signed a three-year, <br />$54 million extension but was released just one year into the deal.<br />He then signed with the Los Angeles Rams in the offseason as a backup to Jared Goff.<br />He will reportedly have to undergo a physical and a COVID-19 test before a deal with the Broncos can be completed
