태국 경찰, '군주제 개혁' 시위대 왕실 행진 막고 물대포 쏴<br /><br />Tensions have been simmering in Thailand since July.. with thousands of anti-government protesters asking for reform of the monarchy.<br />Their latest demonstration on Sunday sparked an aggressive crackdown.<br />For more on this and other news around the world, we turn to our Lee Kyung-eun.<br />Kyung-eun, what's the latest?<br />Mok-yeon, anti-government protesters in Thailand called for greater democracy,... while fighting a water cannon and a police blockade.<br />On Sunday, protesters marched towards the royal palace in Bangkok,... to deliver letters requesting the reform of the country’s powerful monarchy.<br />It was the second time the police used water cannons to suppress the largely peaceful protests,... which have been ongoing for nearly four months.<br />"It's not right to use water cannon with protesters who have a different stand and political views."<br />The Royal Palace did not make any comment.<br />But a week ago, the king said the protesters were still loved,...and that Thailand was a land of compromise.<br />Since July, anti-government protesters have been demanding constitutional and monarchy reform,... along with resignation of prime minister.<br />
