Reality TV show: The Sims 4 declined in a television competition

The Sims 4 is reaching out to a new audience!<br />Now the game is invading the television with the broadcasting of the new reality show "The Sims Spark'd".<br />The idea?, Combine reality TV and E-sport.<br />Reality TV is broadcasted since July 17th on TBS.<br />It is made of 4 episodes where 12 participants try to create, in a given time, the best stories in The Sims 4.<br />They will have to create the "most original characters, environments and stories".<br />What's at stake? The winner receives a cash prize of 100,000 dollars! <br />Candidates will face each other in solo and teams, in challenges decided by the judges.<br />They will grant scores: Each week, the worst performers will be eliminated from the program.<br />"Since its beginnings, The Sims has been an innovative experience that allows players to create their stories and live them virtually in the game. [...] Always in the same spirit of innovation, we bring our community together around a reality TV show in which participants will present and confront their stories in a whole new way." Lyndsay Pearson, Executive Director of The Sims, in press release .<br />And for those who haven't had a chance to watch this reality show, the episodes are available for streaming on YouTube (Buzzfeed Multiplayer channel).<br />But for fans of The Sims 4, you will not be forgotten!<br />Challenges will be held in order to select the best creators, potential candidates for the next season.<br />Globally, The Sims 4 has more than 20 million players.<br />This latest version of the game is over 6 years old.<br />We are now waiting for The Sims 5 to be released in 2021.
