TV3 has apologised for describing United States vice-president-elect Kamala Devi Harris as "anak pendatang tanpa izin dari India" (child of an illegal immigrant from India) in its Buletin 1.30.<br /><br />Taking to Twitter, TV3 issued a correction and apologised for the error.<br /><br />The Buletin TV3 segment featured Harris' speech in Delaware following her election, where the newscaster said: “Kamala, 56, has made history in the US with her election as the first woman vice-president.<br /><br />“She also made history for being the first black woman and of Asian descent to hold the second most important post in America.<br /><br />“The child of a Jamaican and an illegal immigrant from India 'broke stigma' when she became the first woman attorney-general of California...”
