Kanye West Sued for $1 Million Over<br />Unpaid ‘Nebuchadnezzar’ Wages.<br />Kanye West and Live Nation have reportedly<br />been named in a $1 million class-action lawsuit.<br />According to legal documents<br />obtained by The Blast, a group of workers<br />are taking legal action over “unpaid wages.” .<br />The lawsuit pertains to West’s<br />2019 opera, ‘Nebuchadnezzar,’ which was<br />held at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. .<br /><br />The workers allege that West and<br />Live Nation “failed to properly compensate”<br />a number of staff members. .<br />The suit specifically names a hair<br />assistant and background actors who were<br />hired to pose as “audience members.”.<br />The aggrieved employees worked many<br />hours on the production and were not<br />timely paid for their work, or paid at all, via The Blast.<br />Live Nation is being included in the suit<br />because they “oversaw, controlled and ran the<br />production” and failed to provide pay stubs. .<br />West has not yet publicly<br />responded to the lawsuit.
