박지원 국정원장, 스가 총리 만나..."한일 관계 정상화 의지 전달"<br /><br />South Korean spy chief Park Jie-won has met with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga...amid strained relations between the two neighboring countries over wartime history and trade.<br />Following a 30-minute meeting on Tuesday, South Korea's National Intelligence Service Director told reporters that he has delivered President Moon Jae-in's message of wishing to normalize relations.<br />On the issue of Japan's wartime forced labor, Park said the two parties agreed that the matter should be settled between the two leaders.<br />Park is also known to have relayed South Korea's stance on its efforts to host a trilateral summit with China and Japan next month.<br />
