The Perikatan Nasional's supreme council has appointed its information chief Azmin Ali as the national elections director.<br /><br />This development was the latest signal yet that PN was preparing for elections to be held soon.<br /><br />In a statement today, PN secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin said the council had come to the unanimous decision on the matter yesterday.
