대한항공, 아시아나 인수설…산은 "여러 옵션 검토"<br /><br />Hanjin Group, the owner of South Korea's top flag carrier Korean Air, is reportedly interested in acquiring its next biggest rival, Asiana Airlines.<br />Sources say Hanjin is in talks with the state-run Korea Development Bank to buy the debt-ridden airline.<br />A KDB official said a deal is under consideration, but noted nothing has been confirmed yet.<br />Asiana Airlines has been struggling to stay afloat due to the impact of the pandemic.<br />A deal, if reached, would see the number of travelers using Korean Air and Asiana jump to more than half of the total number of local passengers.<br />
