Bacardi is rolling out the world's first fully biodegradable spirits bottle, as well as paper bottles.<br />Both bottle types will hit shelves in the US by 2023.<br />Business Insider reports the bottles will be used for brands including Bombay Sapphire, Grey Goose, and Martini, alongside Bacardi rum.<br />The new bottles can biodegrade within 18 months – and don't leave microplastics behind.
