Retread is a sustainable re-manufacturing process that applies new tread to worn tires.<br />A retreaded tire takes 20% of the energy used to create a brand new tire.<br />The old tread is stripped. The casing is inspected and buffed.<br />The new tread is then added with a thick coat of sticky rubber.<br />The tires are then cured with immense heat and pressure.
