연등회, 인류무형유산 등재 확실시<br /><br />South Korea's Lantern Lighting Festival may be added to UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list.<br />The Cultural Heritage Administration said Tuesday that it has completed the necessary submission procedures.<br />The 2020 nominations will be discussed by the Committee during its 15th session next month, which runs from December 14th to 19th.<br />If added, South Korea will have a total of 21 items of cultural heritage listed by UNESCO, including traditional Korean wrestling, 'Ssirum', and the lyrical folk song 'Arirang'.<br />
