美 7일간 코로나 환자 120만명…추수감사절 앞둔 공항엔 300만명<br /><br />Amid a continued increase of COVID-19 infections in the U.S., a mass exodus of people has started in time for Thanksgiving.<br />Despite the CDC's strong advisory on refraining from traveling during the holiday season, over 3-million Americans passed through airport checkpoints last weekend.<br />That's the highest number of travelers since the pandemic hit the country in March.<br />This comes amid a fifteen percent increase in the country's daily tally in just a week.<br />CNN reported the U.S. saw some 170-thousand new infections a day over the past seven days.<br />The total number of infections stands at twelve-point-three million as of Monday, with deaths almost reaching 260-thousand.<br />
