추미애 법무부장관, 헌정사상 초유 윤석열 검찰총장 직무 정지<br /><br />The Justice Minister, Choo Mi-ae, suspended Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl from his post and also said she will seek disciplinary action against the top district attorney.<br />The unprecedented move, announced on Tuesday, comes amid the clash between the two which has been boiling over amid reforms in the country's prosecution office.<br />Explaining the decision, Minister Choo said there had been discoveries made relating to a number of questionable activities from Yoon including "improper" meeting with a media executive and interference with the prosecution's investigations to protect those around him.<br />The public is waiting to see if Yoon will immediately take legal action.<br />
