BTS 만 30세까지 입대 연기 가능…병역법 개정<br /><br />South Korea's National Assembly has passed a bill that would allow globally recognized male pop culture artists like BTS to postpone their mandatory military duties.<br />The assembly's plenary session gave the green light to a revision of the Military Service Act,... which would grant an exceptional rights to defer national defense duties to acclaimed stars,... until the age of 30.<br />The revision was first proposed in September after BTS became the first-ever South Korean pop artist to top the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.<br />Prior to the revision,... military service exemptions or deferrals were only given to international medal-winning athletes or classical musicians.<br />
