이란 "미국•유럽이 핵 합의 준수하면 우리도 약속 지킬 것"<br /><br />While issues over Iran's nuclear program have been rekindled in recent days following the assassination of Tehran's top nuclear scientist....<br />Tehran has urged the U.S. and Europe to comply with their previous nuclear deal which included lifting sanctions.<br />For more on this and other news from around the world, we turn to our Lee Kyung-eun.<br />Kyung-eun, what's the latest?<br />Mok-yeon, Iran is calling for some give-and-take,... when it comes to its nuclear issues.<br />Tehran's foreign minister called on the U.S. and Europe to rejoin the nuclear deal.<br />And he's basically saying,... Iran will comply with the agreement to scale down its nuclear programs,... if they also keep their promise to lift sanctions.<br />Iran was referring to the 2015 agreement,... signed during the U.S. Obama administration.<br />The deal led to a substantial improvement in their bilateral ties.<br />But in 2018, President Trump unilaterally withdrew from the agreement.<br />The remark comes at a critical time just under two months before President-elect Joe Biden takes office.<br />And Biden the former vice president during the Obama administration has previously said he is committed to returning to, and expanding the deal.<br />
