When Will the COVID-19 <br />Vaccine Be Available?.<br />Government officials have said a <br />coronavirus vaccine may be available<br />before the end of the year.<br />Here’s a breakdown of when the <br />vaccine could actually be distributed.<br />Health care workers and nursing home <br />residents are expected to be vaccinated <br />first, possibly by as early as this month.<br />More health care workers and essential workers, <br />as well as high-risk adults, could potentially<br />receive the vaccine by January or February.<br />Phase 1 of the vaccine <br />for the general public <br />may begin in March, but <br />only for those at high risk.<br />Phase 2 and 3 may occur sometime between <br />April and June, with young adults and children <br />likely having to wait until the final phase.<br />As for costs and availability, the vaccine is expected <br />to be covered by most insurances and be available <br />in most pharmacies and doctors' offices
