코로나19 3차 유행에 연말 보신각 '제야의 종' 행사 취소<br /><br />On top of the virtual shutdown after 9PM, Seoul city is also canceling the annual bell-ringing ceremony at Bosingak Pavilion set for the end of the year.<br />The city was trying to hold the event by reducing its size, but officials decided to cancel the year-end celebration due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases.<br />Launched in 1953, it's the first time the event has been cancelled in its 67 year history.<br />However, city officials plan to pre-record a private ceremony for the public to watch at their convenience.<br />
