The Perak palace is unable to determine if any state assemblyperson commands the majority to be the next menteri besar of the state.<br /><br />This was informed by palace spokesperson Annuar Zaini, who told reporters that everyone would have to wait for the lawmakers, who are still negotiating.<br /><br />"His Royal Highness has yet to be convinced that anyone (has the majority. We will wait until (the lawmakers) are ready to convince His Royal Highness.<br /><br />"Once His Royal Highness is satisfied that a simple majority exists, then we can establish a government," he said.
