오늘부터 공인인증서 폐지…"공공기관 민간인증서 사용 가능"<br /><br />Beginning today, South Korea opens up its public online verification certificate system, so people can instead use certificates issued by private companies.<br />The aim is to make it simpler for people to get verification certificates, which are used for online banking, tax returns and other online transactions.<br />The Ministry of Science and ICT says the amended Digital Signature Act will remove the monopoly status of the public organizations that had been issuing certificates used for personal authentication.<br /><br />
