미 "비건, 북한 완전한 비핵화 위해 한국과 지속 조율 재확인"<br /><br />U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun reaffirmed his country's commitment to coordinating North Korea's denuclearization efforts with South Korea.<br />The State Department said Friday that Seoul and Washington confirmed their continued commitment to complete denuclearization of the regime during Biegun's visit to Seoul this week.<br />The department added that the top U.S. envoy also expressed appreciation for Seoul's continued partnership in response to COVID-19.<br />Biegun and South Korean officials, including Seoul's nuclear envoy Lee Do-hoon, discussed how to ensure the Seoul-Washington alliance could continue to face challenges for the next 70 years.<br />
