대북전단금지법 통과…전단 살포하면 최대 3년 징역<br /><br />South Korea's National Assembly has passed the law that prohibits the scattering of anti-Pyeongyang leaflets near the inter-Korean border.<br />The revision to the Development of Inter-Korean Relations Act was passed on Monday during a plenary session.<br />The ruling party which holds the majority in the assembly agreed to the bill saying it's for the safety of South Korean residents near border.<br />The conservative main opposition party did not participate, saying it impacts people's freedom of speech.<br />Violators could face up to three years in jail or a fine of up to 27-thousand U.S. dollars.<br />
