As per the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India on December 15 reported a single-day spike of 26,382 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. <br /><br />387 deaths in the same period pushed the Covid-19 toll in the country to 1,44,096. India’s confirmed cases of coronavirus stand at 99,32,548 which include 3,32,002 active infections. <br /><br />More than 94,56,449 people have recovered from the virus with 33,813 new discharges in the last 24 hours. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 10,85,625 samples were tested on December 15.<br /><br />Cumulative samples tested for Covid-19 till December 15 are 15,66,46,280.
