내년부터 전기요금 유가따라 달라진다…연료비 연동제 도입<br /><br />Starting from next year, electricity bills will be restructured so that rises and falls in fuel prices are passed on to consumers.<br />The Energy Ministry and Korea Electric Power Corporation announced the new billing system on Thursday.<br />Consumers are expected to initially benefit from the new billing system as oil prices are low at the moment.<br />The environmental cost of power generation will also be factored into electricity bills.<br />The government hopes this change will help raise awareness of the need to transition to environmentally-friendly energy sources.<br />
