The Baja Hail Toyota is a new event for FIA BAJAS WORLD CUP and will host the final two events of the 2020 season.<br />Located in northern Saudi Arabia, Hail was once a key part of the route taken by pilgrims for the Hajj by camel, and today is better known for its agriculture, in particular wheat and dairy products. As-Samra Mountain offers an incredible view over the city, while the surrounding desert landscape offers the perfect terrain for rallying.<br />Motorsport also isn’t new to the city with the Hail Rally first taking place in 2006, later becoming an FIA-sanctioned event in 2008, and was delighted to be part of the Kingdom’s first Dakar Rally back in January.<br />In fact, this year’s Bajas, on December 10-12 and December 14-16, come less than a month before the 2021 Dakar, providing competitors with an ideal chance to sample the same challenges that await next year.
