Who is Jill Biden?<br />She was born on June 3, 1951 in Hammonton, New Jersey and she attended the University of Delaware where she majored in English.<br />She has two Master’s degrees and obtained her doctorate degree in 2007 that made her among the most-educated First Lady.<br />She met Joe Biden on a blind date set up by his brother. They married in June 17, 1977 in New York City.<br />She is a teacher and has been teaching at Northern Virginia Community College since 2009.<br />She taught at various public schools in Delaware and as a Second Lady during Obama’s mandate, she highlighted the importance of community college.<br />She wants to continue teaching when she’ll become First Lady, as she did when she was the Second Lady.<br />She took a break from teaching for the first time since 1981 to help her husband, Joe Biden, on the campaign.<br />As a First Lady, she plans to advocate for free community college tuition, to raise awareness for breast cancer and support for militaries families.
