In view of rise in number of coronavirus cases and keeping the festive season - Christmas and New Year celebrations - in mind, the Karnataka government has decided to impose night curfew from 10pm to 6am in the state. The night curfew will come into effect from today and continue till January 2. <br /> <br />"In view of the new stain of the Covid-19 virus and as per the advice of the central government and the Technical Advisory Committee, it is decided to impose night curfew from today till January 2 between 10 pm and 6 am. This night curfew will be for nine days. Regular life will continue during the day," Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said.
