'설상가상' 영국, 코로나 변종 또 출현…"남아공서 유래"<br /><br />The U.K. has identified yet another new strain of COVID-19 linked to South Africa.<br />Britain's health secretary revealed Wednesday that two new variants have been detected,... adding that both are contacts of people who returned from South Africa recently.<br />Health authorities say this new variant is even more transmissible than the other and appears to have mutated further than the other variant that was earlier discovered in the U.K.<br />As a result, more parts of Britain are set to be placed under the highest level of lockdown.<br />New travel restrictions with South Africa have also been imposed.<br />
