LNG선•초대형 원유운반선이 한국 '빅3' 수주가뭄 막았다<br /><br />South Korea's big three shipbuilders have scored big orders at the end of the year, ...offering a bright outlook for 2021 despite the pandemic.<br />According to industry sources, ...Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, Samsung Heavy Industries ...and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering met their annual order target by 91 percent, 65 percent ...and 75 percent, respectively.<br />The numbers are not far off from last year... thanks to orders of LNG carriers and super-large crude oil carriers.<br />Of 63 global orders for ultra-large LNG carriers in 2020, ...46 were won by local firms.<br />South Korean shipbuilders also secured over 80 percent of global V-L-C-C orders.<br />Experts forecast the big three will continue to win orders in the first half of 2021.<br />
