Beto O'Rourke has a long and storied history of failure.<br />His alt-weekly flopped.<br />His record band went nowhere.<br />He lost a Senate race to one of the most disliked senators of all time, Ted Cruz.<br />His presidential campaign is considered one of the worst in American presidential political history.<br />O'Rourke dedicated two years to flipping his home state, Texas, to the Democratic party.<br />Beto failed at that too.<br />Now, what is the former congressman going to do?<br />Teach at Texas State and write a book about Democracy.<br />Dallas Morning News reports Beto will be paid $7,500 to teach a course next semester at Texas State University.<br />He is also "writing a book on democracy in the U.S. through the lens of Texas."
