일본 코로나 신규 확진·사망 최다에 영국발 변종까지<br /><br />The COVID-19 situation in Japan is not any better.<br />On Saturday, the country reported a record-high number of cases AND deaths at over 38-hundred and 63, respectively.<br />Tokyo saw the highest number, adding almost 890 new cases.<br />Japan also confirmed the first cases of a new COVID-19 variant.<br />On Friday, the country's health minister said five people returning from the UK have tested positive for the new variant.<br />On Thursday, the Japanese government also imposed a temporary ban on new arrivals from the UK to prevent the spread of new variants.<br />
