크로아티아서 6.4 강진 발생…"사망 7명•부상 최소 20명"<br /><br />A magnitude 6-point-4 earthquake has struck a town in central Croatia,... claiming several lives and causing severe property damage.<br />For more on this and other news from around the world, we turn to our Lee Kyung-eun.<br />Kyung-eun, tell us more.<br />Mok-yeon, rescue and evacuation operations are underway in Petrinja,... after a magnitude 6-point-4 earthquake hit the town,... near the Croatian capital.<br />It was the second quake to strike the area in two days.<br />At least 7 people were killed,...including a child.<br />And at least 20 people were injured.<br />Many houses and buildings have been destroyed.<br />Army troops have been dispatched to pull people from the rubble.<br />"Literally, the building is totally destroyed - the walls broke down, the water boiler fell off, there is not one thing that is not destroyed, you absolutely cannot live in it anymore..."<br />Tremors were also felt in Croatia's capital Zagreb, and as far away as parts of Austria.<br />Slovenia shut its only nuclear power plant as a precaution.<br />It follows another massive earthquake that hit Zagreb in March,...causing one death and injuring 27 people.<br />
