Vaccine Passports May Be Required for Travel Next Year.<br />With the COVID-19 vaccine beginning to roll out <br />around the world, many companies have started<br />developing apps to easily provide digital credentials.<br />Geneva-based nonprofit The Commons <br />Project created the CommonPass app <br />that allows users to upload medical <br />data such as proof of vaccination.<br />The group has already partnered <br />with several major airlines and <br />hundreds of health systems in the U.S.<br />The app will also list specific health <br />requirements based on an individual’s <br />place of departure and arrival.<br />Other companies such as IBM <br />have also developed apps, which <br />will be widely available within <br />the first half of 2021
